This is an exciting opportunity to come and work for Tameside Children’s Services

We are looking for social workers to join our Neighbourhood Teams and we are currently offering excellent rates of pay of up to £35 per hour dependant on experience.

It’s an exciting time to come and work for us as you will be joining the team at a time of transformation and great investment into services for children and social work practice.

You will take the lead on championing the voice of children. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team and your work will include undertaking assessments, direct work with children and families, Court work and formulating and implementing SMART plans.

You must have:

• A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with Children’s, in particular previous experience of Assessment work
• Social Work England registration.
• Post qualified experience.
• Enhanced DBS/Update service.
• References required for the last 5 years of employment.
