Our client is recruiting for qualified Support Workers for a Children’s service in Taunton.

Our Client is looking for Support Workers to work with children and young people who have experienced trauma. It is essential to have experience of challenging behaviour and the passion and drive to motivate young people to make positive changes, often at challenging times in their lives. Resilience and a sense of humour will be key aspects to your character along with a genuine desire to build strong relationships.

You will have gained a Level 2 Diploma or equivalent and have previous transferable experience along with a desire to become qualified to a Level 4 Practitioner. In return, our client offer a tailored, structured training programme, coaching and continual professional development for all Support Workers.

The post includes shift work and some weekends together with sleep-in's at our Children's Home.

This is a full time position with a permanent contract. The sleep-in rate is £73.00 per night.

Salary: Up to £26,000.00 per year (based on 2 sleep-in's per week)
