Job Description
Family Practitioner Role: Working as part of Newcastle Community Family Offer in North and Outer West areas.
Tasks: to support families on 1:1 basis to access services; to facilitate focussed groupwork (e.g. parenting groups etc); to run enjoyable and accessible family activities.
Skills:
• Ability to engage with children and parents including those for whom English is an Additional Language, those with additional needs; and those who are marginalised on other ways.
• Creative and groupwork skills
• Record Keeping
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability and knowledge to signpost parents to access appropriate services.

You must have:
- Post qualified experience.
- Enhanced DBS/Update service.
